[Q] What about iodak kernel ?

Default [Q] What about iodak kernel ?

Hello

Recently, i flashed eternityproject kernel in v20b but i noticed some trobles like (no chanring when phone is off) so I re-flashed the v20b and all is OK

I want to know if iodak kernel have problemes ? do you recomend it ?

for stock, latest i'd suggest is v8. anykernel versions have issues with wifi & bluetooth when installed on stock. there's also v9.5 for stock made by iodak, but that one has issues with access point (due to updated drivers that iodak later reverted), so if you don't use wifi access point, that's the one i'd suggest.
To install custom roms on O4x:

1. upgrade to jb
2. root
3. unlock bootloader
4. flash custom recovery (cwm)
5. flash roms
6. if you encounter any issues, search, they've been answered already.

Got issues with RIL/IMEI/BASEBAND on custom 4.2, 4.3 or 4.4 ROMs on p880? Click me for possible solution!

Yes, I never used access point

Si I should flash iodak v9.5 ? and is th access point the only problem ?

yes, but 9.5 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2#post49683372 (even AP works on 9.5, 9.9 has issues with wifi AP, so i recommend 9.5 for stock from this link)
