Apologies if this has been asked anywhere before, but is there any way to lift the 3 minute limit on videos when recording using the adb shell screenrecord command? I'd like to be able to record videos at least 5-7 minutes long.

Heh, with a little research I was able to answer my own question. Anyone else interested in getting a longer record can do this also.

On windows my trick is creating a screenrecord.bat file and running it. For 9 minutes (Each is 3 minutes by default):

Code:
adb shell screenrecord --bit-rate 8000000 /sdcard/sr1.mp4
adb shell screenrecord --bit-rate 8000000 /sdcard/sr2.mp4
adb shell screenrecord --bit-rate 8000000 /sdcard/sr3.mp4
Then you can merge the files with any video editing software.
