[Q] Rooting lenovo s650 from Linux (not Windows)

I'm quite a newbie in rooting cell phones. I have Lenovo s650 which I want to root. I did some research and found some different ways of doing this. However, since I'm on Ubuntu I wasn't able to apply any of them. Is there a way to root my phone from Linux, not from Windows?

try it with Framaroot.

of course, not. what could I try? I don't know any ways to root Android from Linux except the one you suggested me which didn't help me.
