So 5 minutes ago I was using my M8. The screen turns off. I tried to reset by holding the power button. The charging light doesn't come on when plugged in, but the reboot sounds work. Nothing is responding. What should I do? and has anyone else had this problem? My screen is just black.

I did volume down and power while connected to a power source for 10 seconds and it worked. I was pretty scared. Haven't seen a screen go blank like that in a while.

Forces reboot. Similar to pulling the battery if we had that ability.

So its the same as holding volume up AND down while hitting the power button?
OK.
I thought maybe volume up by itself was doing something different.
