The stock earbuds are similar to the stock Samsung ones. Decent but not going to give you a totally great experience.
Phones:
  • Motorola Q, Motorola Q9C, Samsung Omnia, Motorola Droid,
  • HTC Incredible, HTC Thunderbolt, Droid RAZR, Toro, Maguro, HTC One, Note 3
  • Nexus 5, Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8)

My two cents: they are okay, unless you heard better. They lack clarity, the bass is kind of muddy, the highs are okay. They don't have any stage what so ever, but hey, that's not the easiest thing to build.
The fit is okay, but the microphonics are crazy.
They are kind of like.. Beats.
But: they are "better" than the ones that came with the int. Galaxy S3.

So if anybody is serious about his music experience should take a look at some over ear headphones from V-Moda. The M80 and the XS are really good. (Also provably better and cheaper than any Beats.)

Cheers.
