Hi guys, i'm new here. Yesterday I flash DITTO ROM RC2 for my note 2 then i try to install S-health from s4 and note 3 and even s5. Pedometer doesn't function. Neither Pedometer from Runtastic function. What could be the problem?

Note 2 doesn't have the required sensors to measure footsteps or heart rate.

I think that has nothing too do with the sensors, except the sensor for heart rate sensor. So far I know Pedometer (Footsteps counter) is counting the steps via gyroscope and proximity sensors. I read that some people are using the S Health app on S3 devices.

Beside I have the same problem. I have a note 2. The app starts but can not count my steps. But I think that is more an app specific problem and has nothing to do with missing sensor.

PS: I have a note 3 and checked the sensor differences with note2. Yes Note3 has 2 sensors, on sensor for detecting and one sensor for counting steps. I hope this problem will be fixed. I think steps can be count via proximity sensor and gyroscope...
