I have the LG G2 on Verizon, running JackpotClavin's CM11 based on 4.4.2 OTA and TWRP 2.7.0.0. I need to encrypt my phone to access work email (Exchange security policy), but when I try it's stuck at 0%.

Any suggestions? I searched as well as I could but couldn't find much discussion on device encryption, much less a solution to this issue.

Some background:
  1. Up until yesterday, I was on the "official" CM11 version (based on 4.2). Encryption worked fine with these builds and TWRP 2.7.
  2. To get onto JackpotClavin's build, I used the KDZ method to go back to stock 12b, and these instructions to handle the bootstack, recovery, and ROM installation
  3. I was unable to unencrypt my phone before flashing back to stock 12B, but I don't think that matters

I'd post your question in that rom thread.

That's the first place I tried, but I don't have enough posts yet to be able to ask in dev.
