Wifi under water

I have a problem with wifi get disconnected from the router when i emerge the phone under water. the moment i take it out it get connected back again. and the moment i dip it in the water it disconnected but the wifi still on .. anyone has this issue ? is it normal or not ?

It is normal, wifi do not spread into water.

High frequency radio signals to not travel very far in water at all, and they cannot penetrate the water from above either....... That is why submarines use Low Frequency (LF) radio signals to communicate....
