they should, its just a splash screen. I converted to GPE and then back to sense and i still have the GPE black splash screen lol. Bootanimations and down animations you can just copy to your device and put them where they belong. The splash screen you will need to push via fastboot..

Good Evening,

I have tried all the above steps on my M8 (Root and S-Off) to apply these animations and I can't figure out where I am going wrong. I understand I cannot flash them, which is why TWRP doesn't work, however I cannot seem to save them and edit the /system/customize/resources folder either.

I am running a stock rom, just removed the bloatware from it.
