If u don't want custom rom then u can use greenify app for hibernating all ur ram hungry apps and if u have rooted then it will automatically hibernate these apps and if u buy their donation greenify app then it will automatically hibernate ur apps and wake up these apps if they have notification like Facebook twitter etc..

If u know how to root,,,, den i will suggest u 2 try dis method,,,,

1) first root your device using philz touch recovery.

2) install triangle away.apk & reset flash counter.

3) boot into recovery mode

4) do factory data reset, wipe cache & dalvik cache.

5) uninstall the rom.

It will completely remove ur stock rom....

den boot into odin mode & install the previous rom which u want to install.

boot in recovery mode, wipe cache & wipe data.... & reboot....

It will sureley fix ur prblm

did each step as guided but I'm not sure this goona help because after rooting, cleaning, and flashing new firmware i was astonished to find the old home screen wallpaper there instead of system defined home screen wallpaper. Will report about performance (lag issue gone or not) later. Anyways thanks for your help.

I am still waiting for a response from a user who flashed custom ROM after having lag issue in stock ROM.
