What did you freeze on your Xperia SP? Post here.

I froze a number of apps, but some have cryptic/non-descriptive names, no GUI and/or I'm not sure what they do, so I left them alone... for now.

This is the list so far on 4.1.2, 12.0.A.2.254:
Account manager
Auto upload(photo)
Car mode
Chrome //too heavy to use
com.sonyericsson.startupflagservice
Diagnostics
Facebook
Gmail
Google Play Books
Google Play Movies
Google Play Music
Google Play Newsstand
Google+
Home Screen Tips
Japanese keyboard layout
Movie Studio
Music Unlimited
News & Weather //made a ton of wakelocks
Picasa Uploader
PlayMemories Online
Retail Demo
Setup Guide
Socialife
Sony Select
Support
Talk (Hangouts)
TalkBack
Update Centre
Weather widget
Xperia AppShare
Xperia Calendar Sync
Xperia FB Setup
Xperia Friends' Music
Xperia Music Likes
Xperia Proxy //Facebook icon
Xperia Proxy //twitter icon
Xperia Share
Xperia Social Engine
Xperia Social Engine Photos //FB icon
^---------------------------------------^ //Picasa icon
^---------------------------------------^ //Sony icon
Xperia Social Engine Sharing //FB
^---------------------------------------^ //Twitter
Xperia Twitter Setup
Xperia Chinese keyboard

Haven't encountered any problem yet and got rid of some of the unwanted background processes at the same time.

The bold ones are the ones I've freezed.
No issues here... But Update Center is for updates (you can disable notifcations and keep the app enabled...

But I don't know what you wanted to ask/know?

I wish to know which applications, besides these, are safe to be frozen, removed even, and not to interfere with phone's functioning. I'm asking other members to share their list, if they did it.

As for Update Centre... updates to what? Judging by the icon, it's a Sony program, meaning firmware updates. PC Companion labeled my phone as already running the latest FW, before I froze UC. And 4.3 is junk. No loss there.

I don't use any of those, anyway. Besides, being on 4.1, I have older versions of those apps and I don't see what differences that makes, even if I did use them. And I can get newest by sideloading them, if I wished.

But, that's fine, leave Update Centre out of freeze list, if you want. Everyone has their own preferences.
