Default Returning to Stock Rom Without Losing App Settings and Root Access

Is this possible?

I am currently using cm11 nightly. But I Have serious Battery and Camera issues. I want to revert back to stock rom. I Have many apps installed and I don't want to lose them. Also I want to keep root permission.

Is there any way?

Use titanium backup to backup your apps

Then use recovery to flash a prerooted ROM and make sure you flash the associated stipped FTF as well.
Then restore your backed up apps from titanium

Not sure if that works but if you did a nandroid backup of your rooted ROM before installing CyanogenMod, you could try do restore it through recovery.
