[Q] Simulating a long sequence of screen presses with precise timing and low resource

I want more people to look like my stackoverflow question, because I'm not getting hits and could use some help:

Basically, I want to simulate hundreds of screen presses in order and timing precision within +/-100ms. The problem is that executing hundreds of sendevent commands causes lagging so that I'm not getting the 100ms precision that I need. I want to know what's causing the lag and how I can overcome this problem.
