I have the same problem with weather animation since I have installed AntWorks auto wallpaper changer form this site. The animation is working with the file from PMoto but with the default wallpaper only.

On my TD2 with original WM 6.5 ROM it only comes when i use the standard background.

You should search for "background 4 all tabs" that work in manila 2.5.
I know that exist, but don't remember where I saw it. A search in the forum will do.
