Question [Q] This is a really stupid question: Odex faster performance?

Alright there is few things I know: Deodex make costumizing better. Zipaling optimize these deodex. Odex is: (Filename).apk with odex file next to it so android can load faster.

What bother me the most is these 2 script that make system odex instead of deodex and claiming that its faster. In theory it should. It only apply for system app. Loading faster etc etc.

The 2 scripts im talking about:

I read enough post that deodex doesnt decrease or increase peformance. So odex doesnt do the same right?
So my purpose is to ask other or perferably a known developer if its increase peformance or its just placebo effect. If I missed out on a post anywhere on the internet just give me the link. We are human after all .

For me its just doenst feel faster or snappier but hell i could be wrong.

It is supposed to have less overhead due to the odex file kind of being like cache when loading the app thus making it slightly faster to boot and a little faster to open it. However, with the power of most modern phones, it's so negligible that it's not noticeable in my experience and definitely not worth losing the ability to customize the apps easier.
