Unsure if packaged as a zip..if so unzip,copy to where adb abd fastboot are located,open command prompt,connect phone via fastboot in bootloader run command fastboot flash recovery (nameofrecovery).img

They are just the img files, flash it the same way you would flash a custom recovery. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

No, this only makes the recovery stock. You would want to restore your nandroid then flash recovery, and remove root if needed.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase cache

Not sure why but I am on ATT model that is running stock rom but is s-off and rooted with clockwork mod. I tried to flash the recovery.img in fastboot but it wouldn't stick.

Adb reboot bootloader
Fastboot flash recovery recovery. Img
Fastboot erase cache

I did all this and it just gives me a red exclamation.

Any help?

The red exclamation is stock recovery. When you see that screen, press POWER + VOL DOWN + VOL UP. You may have to try a couple of times before the menu pops up.

Everytime I try to flash the stock recovery, it fails "remote:image error! boot Magic check fail

What am I doing wrong?

Nevermind I had a bad file, redownloaded and it worked
