Hey guys,

I rooted my HTC One X in order to install a firewall. I'm using Clockwork Mod Recovery v.5.8.4.0 and the HTC RUU.

A few days ago a new software update was released (4.1.18.104.4) but I can't install it. After downloading the zip file my phone reboots, but the recovery shows the following messages:

Clockwork Mod Recovery v.5.8.4.0
E: Invalid command argument
E: Invalid command argument
Finding update package...
E: unknown volume for path [INTERNALSDCARDownload/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_50_S_HTC_EUROPE_4.18.401.4-4.18.401.2_release_368322.zip]
E:Can't mount INTERNALSDCARDownload/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_50_S_HTC_EUROPE_4.18.401.4-4.18.401.2_release_368322.zip
Installation aborted.

Any suggestions?

Just flash the stock recovery, install the update then flash the desired recovery again.

Right, I was hoping there'd be an easier solution, but I will try this out.

Try this: Go into CWM recovery, select install from zip. The zip file should be in downloads folder.. install it.
