It works upwards as well. I only registered my thumb at one angle but seems to work even if I tilt the angle. More than 90deg it doesn't work

What really throws the scanner off is burning off your finger-print whilst stupidly picking up a hot keels from an open fire.
Had to chose another finger till it heals..

I'm surprised they limited it to only 3 prints it will learn.

you can actually use all fingers if you want. When registering your fingers swipe twice or three times per finger.instead of filing up the bar with one finger. It works just as well.

Oh man that sucks. What about those super villains in the movies who rub sandpaper on their fingers to eliminate fingerprints? What will they do??
