Would u guys rather have a external HD or a bigger micro SD card when u need more space?

And also would it be better / faster to run games though an external HD or a SD card ? (Games as in steam games.)

USB3.0 transfer speeds are higher than SD, however in reality disk transfer speed makes negligible impact to gaming, it only alters load times.

Thumbs up external drive and cloud for me!
I've been migrating all my files over several years to external hard drives. I've taken the drives from my computers as I've retired them and turned them into slave drives first then later removed them into cases as external drives. Lately I've taken to using cloud storage. I like taking advantage of free storage offers from the various cloud drives available. Think am up to 100 to 200 gigs so far over several clouds right now. That leaves me plenty of room for on board computer gaming storage. I keep my most important go-to files on SD cards and am good. So I guess I try using all available and affordable storage.

I prefer SD so I don't have to tote around another piece of hardware and use my only usb port for it as well.
