Default [Q] S-OFF prediction

Hi,

I own two M7s I'd like to S-Off w HBOOT 1.54 and 1.55 respectively.
Have attached respective screenshots.

Firewater didn't do the job for them.

For the 1.54 Firewater opened and chugged 2 bottles but then Firewater dropped back to command prompt und both Win7 and Ubuntu 32bit.

The 1.55 produced the well known "Sorry Message" that it was one of the phones that can't be S-OFFed at all.

Is there still a real chance to get the open by unlocking them through HTCDEV after temproot worked on both phones but firewater stalled?
(Tried ~10 times on the 1.54 device)

Any other Routes to try?
Is there a temproot guide for rumrunner?

Thanks
V

The bootloader must be unlocked through HTCdev and phone must be rooted. Otherwise, its not possible.
Also, use ARHD 31.6 to S-OFF because you should use an unsecure kernel. The stock ROM cannot be S-OFF'ed
HBOOT 1.54/1.55 are the least problematic to S-OFF. Also, use Rumrunner and not Firewater for 1.54/1.55
