Default Going back to stock ..needing some feedback :)

Hi all,

Just wanting some feedback on whether I'm going about this correctly. Currently on Android Revolution and I'm wanting to go back to stock. Bootloader is unlocked, S-off, Hboot 1.44 and SuperCID (previously Optus unbranded), TWRP recovery

This is what I get from my getvar :

bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 4A.17.3250.14
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 1.29.980.2
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-OFF
(bootloader) serialno: xxxxxxxxxxx
(bootloader) imei: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
(bootloader) meid: 00000000000000
(bootloader) product: m7_ul
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8064
(bootloader) modelid: PN0714000
(bootloader) cidnum: 11111111
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 4161mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic
(bootloader) security: off
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
getvar:all FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 0.078s

Just wanting to confirm that I'm going about this the right way. I found this CWM nandroid of stock. http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/m7-cwm-n...-24-980-2-zip/

So as far as I can tell, I should change the cid to HTC__039 , flash CWM recovery, and then just use that backup to restore. Is this correct? I've had a read through the Guru site and I'm just wanting to make absolutely sure there isn't anything I'm missing before I follow through. I'm assuming I don't have to be S-On?

Thanks in advance
Current Devices:
Nexus 5 (Hammerhead) - ROM: Purity Kernel: ElementalX .31
Nexus 7 2013 (Flo) - ROM: Purity Kernel: ElementalX

Previous Devices: LG Optimus One -> HTC Incredible S -> HTC Sensation -> Samsung Galaxy SII -> HTC One X -> Nexus 7 and Nexus 4

Yes, that looks pretty close. There is no need to lose S-Off. I would follow Mike1986's guide. I could not check the Guru site, it was down.
1. Change CID? If you are returning to stock to return the phone then yes if not then keep it SuperCID
2. Flash CWM recovery
3. Flash nandroid backup
4. Check if stock recovery, if not follow steps in Mike's guide
5. Lock bootloader? See step 1
The best way to get me to reply is to quote or mention me @majmoz

Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure that I had most of it right, but I just wanted to make sure. It's been a ages since I played around with modding HTC phones so I'd gotten pretty rusty when it comes to S-on/ S-off, hboot, and what's needed to do certain things HTC-wise. Kept getting the feeling I might have been missing something even after scouring the forums.

Thanks again
