[Q] USB OTG + external hard drive => wireless hard drive?

Here's the thing: I would like to mount an external hard drive to my Nvidia SHIELD via an USB OTG cable, and then somehow force my SHIELD to make this hard drive accessible via Wireless-LAN to all other devices in the apartment. Is that possible? If so, please elaborate.

Should be an easy one. Plugin your hdd, install any app that offers file transfwr over network like samba and point to your harddrive. You probably gonna need root for that.
