I installed the ViperOne yesterday and so far I've been enjoying it, however I'm getting random apps installing. They won't be installed but will show as an update in the Google Play Store, they'll automatically "update" when really their just installing.

These apps include:
  • Flashlight Small App Free (by Renaud Aste)
  • Home Anywhere (by amanon)
  • People Small App (by Renaud Aste)
  • Small Phone (by Andre Macareno)
  • Unit Converter Small App (by Sony Mobile Communications)
  • Currency Converter Small App (by Sony Mobile Communications)

I've never heard of these apps before and have no idea why their installing. Help would be greatly appreciated!

- Keir

EDIT: Upon further looking they are actually on my phone and when they say their updating they actually are. They look like stock apps (I can't remove them from Settings -> Applications)
Some of the apps appear to be from Sony which would make sense if I had a Sony device, but I don't. It's a HTC One (M7)

Did some further research into this, turns out ViperOne includes this. Just a heads up for anyone else like me that thought this might be adware.
