I have a T889V that no longer boots. No recovery, no samsung logo, etc. Just the white/grey pattern when you turn it on. Booting to download mode does work, however. And the product name is intact. I presume bootloader is on 4.3, since KNOX is mentioned.

ODIN flashing without a PIT file/re-partitioning says:
<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/005> There is no PIT partition.

ODIN flashing with a PIT file hangs forever at
<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..

I have read a lot about eMMC problems and Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS), but the majority of answered cases are for people with no product name (motherboard brick/not repairable via software). Is there a solution for repairing a case where product name is still present?

Does the blank RP SWREV point to something?

Do you know anything about what might have been done or what might have happened in order for the phone to stop booting?

There's neither KNOX (as expected) nor RP SWREV line on the 4.1.2 bootloader.
