That was probably it, or related.. Found out that my reverting to stock through a backup and then reflashing this ROM somehow got it working...

I haven't experienced any wifi bugs, for what it's worth, but I don't use wifi as my cell phone connection is faster.

I found something else odd, wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same: the camera will crash upon taking a picture, unless you disable location-saving. I cannot find a work-around for the Google Camera, it will always crash upon taking a picture.
