So instead of redownloading a corrupt file, you went ahead and "broke" the nandroid.md5 file instead, so that you can restore a corrupt backup... and are wondering why it's not working?

Just FYI: it doesn't need "fixing", the 1.29.666.5 zip file has MD5=F7AABF946BE18527EF821DEFDA4D4BAF and inside it, they all check out too:

Didn't see that post, remember to either quote me, or mention me (using @ nkk71 <- without the space) for me to get a notification.

Redownload the file (I recommend you use a download manager), then check MD5 (how to do it, is in the FAQ section, and by the way, you should check MD5 on all your downloads always to avoid potential problems).
If you're having problems with that htc1guru site, let me know and I'll upload it somewhere for you.

Then you need to restart at "Step 3: restore nandroid", you can skip steps 1 and 2 since you've already done them.
