Default Google Now Launcher Wallpaper Issue.

I'm currently using the Google Now launcher on my Nexus 7 , all my non system default wallpapers have a black bar when in landscape mode. I first thought that the issue was because the wallpapers were lower than 1920*1200, unfortunately that's not the case the new LG G3 wallpapers have a 2880*2560 , but I'm still getting a black bar in landscape mode. Is the launcher not optimized for the Nexus 7?

Same thing happens on my N7 (2013) and N10 (and would probably happen on my N5 if I enabled auto-rotate on the homescreen). I think because it was originally only available on the N5, it's only really optimized to handle one orientation on the homescreen, since the N5 is a phone and isn't allowed (by default anyways) to auto-rotate the launcher. I just set the wallpaper in orientation I primarily use for each device (Portrait for my N5 & N7 (2013), and Landscape for my N10).

Bottom line, the GNL still appears to be buggy when it comes to this. Although I can live with it, I still would love for them to fix this issue to center the wallpaper on both orientations.
