Default [ Q ]: Yet Another Hard Bricked Note 3? [ SOLVED ]

Any suggestions appreciated in advanced.

I installed suroot successfully. then, installed clockwork mod recovery via the play store. this was a bad idea.

the phone now only boot loops with the familiar lines:

RECOVERY BOOTING...
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit: recovery

the phone does not boot into download mode.

i have spent the past several hours searching and reading, sometimes the same thread thrice. will be pleading with the sprint store in the morning.

anything helps.

thanks.

This happens when you flash a bad or incompatible recovery. I've been able to solve this by doing the following:

1) pull the battery
2) leave the battery out for about 5 minutes
3) press and hold the key combo for download mode
4) insert battery while holding the buttons
5) flash a new recovery. I prefer TWRP.

Hope this helps.

An FYI also.

Hard brick = won't power on or do anything.

Soft Brick (what you had) = bootloops.
