Default LG G2 flashd a panel without needing one...

My friend flashed a panel on his lg g2 (this without needing it and since then he has white stripes on it.

Is there a way to fix it?

Or just flash the correct kernel. Or ROM. Or kdz.
Moto G 16GB (Good noddy phone for Mrs Ash)
Sony Xperia ZL - Actually better than the Z for me - and LOUD! (daughter 1)
LG G2 d802 - rooted Stock 80220C with Bloat removed (daughter 2)
Sony Xperia Z2 - rooted stock (me)
iPAD 2 - was good in 2011, now seems a bit pants!

The phone is not at my place, I will see it tomorrow.

So he have not to order a new screen right? He already tried to flash another rom, didnt work. And there are no other panels I can find currently.

Well for starters I wouldn't flash that ROM you linked because of the giant MODERATOR DISCLAIMER on the page saying it can wreck your screen.

Also, panel, I don't think that means what you think it means. You are talking about "Kernels" The panel is the actual screen type of the G2, either LGD or JDI. Flashing a kernel built for an LGE panel on a phone with a JDI panel will result in white lines. Find a kernel that supports JDI panels.
HTC Dream - CM 4.2.11 - Retired, fried something by being an idiot and trying to OC to 712 Mhz.
iPhone 4 (found on a park bench) - tweaked to the gills - Eventually donated to my mum after I got my Galaxy S3
Samsung Galaxy S3 - Carbonrom - Stolen at concert
LG Optimus 4x HD - Vanir - Gave to girlfriend with a clean/stable install of CM 10.2
LG G2 - Today, CM11, tomorrow, who knows?
