Thanks.

I think I can grab the data piece by piece just by using Kies.

I am very curious in how to use the ADB method but I will save that for the next time. Not sure if I'm quite ready for that.

I have a question for the the modem file.
To get the data, wi-fi, and GPS working, I can flash the T999_4.3_UVUEMJC_Modem using the Install Zip from CWM recovery?

The kernel is not needed since it's already included in the ROM?

If the modem is the cause if data connections not working, then yes, flashing it via recovery should fix it.
Just about every rom out there includes a kernel. Otherwise lots of people would end up complaining about boot problems when they come from a rom with a different, incompatible kernel.

I flashed the T999_Official_UVUEMJC_Deodexed_KnoxFree ROM
and T999_4.3_UVUEMJC_Modem from this link:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2521742

My Wi-Fi can't be switched on. Keeps automatically going to off.
Was there a file that I flashed wrong?

Should I try flashing that T999_AT&T_UCUEMJ2_Insecure_kernel.zip?

I did some search and found this link.

Am I having similar problems?

Thanks.

Yes that kernel, or any custom kernel should fix your WiFi problem

If the kernel doesn't help, try the NC2 modem. I'm not certain, but the MJC modem may not work if your firmware was updated to NC2. (I think it should, I just can't remember for sure)

Thanks.

The T999_AT&T_UCUEMJ2_Insecure_kernel.zip file did the trick.
