so i wasn't getting any mms on my samsung galaxy s2 virgin mobile phone. I seen a comment on http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...0#post50661220 that said there is a patch: here is what i did

"@dastin1015 I found the MMS fix for CM11! Big shoutout to @bigsupersquid for coding it. https://github.com/bigsupersquid/and...b6a99f5118a8df and https://github.com/bigsupersquid/fra...dataconnection

EDIT: I was able to compile the fixes into the framework myself, so here's the fix: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...ony-common.jar Copy that .jar into /system/frameworks in the VILLUMINATI zip
Also copy http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=830 the apn config file from that post and drop it into /system/etc/ in the VILLUMINATI zip before flashing the zip

EDIT2: Explanation to the problem and it's solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...9#post50662079"

i did everything he said and when i re-installed cyanogenmod i get this error "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" i cannot find a fix for it please help. i wasnt getting it before. but i also wasnt able to recieve mms just send them. please help!

Need more details. Your ROM version may clash with mine and if it does that would explain the FC's.
Mine is March 15 4.4.2 CM11.0. If yours is significantly newer, you may have issues with internal compatibility.
Post a just-after-boot logcat to pastebin.com and I'll look at it but can't guarantee I can really give you more help with it than maybe figuring out just why it crashes.

My builds started bootlooping after March 15, so something went different in the internals after that date that really messed things up for me. All system apps FC at boot and respawn.

The source code changes I made have been absorbed by Team-Hydra and LiquidSmooth at least, though I haven't seen them filter upstream to CM. If you can get a dev to build your ROM with one of those repos frameworks_opt_telephony instead of CM's frameworks_opt_telephony it may fix your MMS.
