use SuperOneClick (easier way) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682

use Odin n download kernel (custom way) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1112908

SuperOneClick works only with Froyo. Knuckles's idea is by far better.
