Hi guys!

Recently, the screen or display of my Galaxy Note 2 is totally damaged, broken.
But the phone itself is still working.
I know this, because when I turn it on, I can hear the startup/boot sound.

How can I retrieve my contacts and messages?
I tried connecting via Kies but I can not access it because it has a pattern lock.
And I can not unlock it since the screen is damaged.

Any idea how can I extract the data? USB debugging is also turned off I believe.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you for the link.
Yes I did search the forum for quite some time and I stumble on to the same thread you refer.
Was able to download the tool. But it seems that I need the whole ADB. It's looking for adb.exe
Haven't downloaded the ADB yet.
I'm still trying to find where can I download the whole thing.
