Default [Q] Nook HD SD boot failure

Hi
i think i am not far away from bricking my NOOK HD so i need some advice please .
I had been using bokbokan's excellent sd boot method of running Android on my Nook for months when the sd card failed so i went through the same process again but now the Stock Nook Os seems to have gone .
When i power on the Nook without the sd card inserted on it will boot in to Cyanogenmod or CWM if i press and hold the n button

I am not too bothered about the stock OS to be honest but the version of Cyanogenmod i have on the nook is not right as no matter what i do Gapps will not install correctly.

So what would the easiest or best method be of getting the most up to date Android software on to my nook be ?
If i cant boot from SD i am not bothered either .

Thanks in advance for any help .

DONATE TO ME
Try going to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature and make a new bootable CWM SD per item 1a. Then use that to flash the plain stock zip from item 6 there. This will repair your internal memory with stock so you can start over.
