Hello everyone. I have recently rooted my Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi. It is now running on SinLess ROM, w/Franco Kernel. However, my Nexus informed me of the system update to 4.4.3. So, my question is, what will happen if I go ahead and update the system? Will I lose my root? Will my Nexus become bricked?

Is there any way I can prevent any root loss? Because my laptop is on the fritz, and I haven't had a chance to update WugFresh toolkit for any ADB activity.

Thanks in advance for any assistance? It's greatly appreciated.

When you go to update it will check if your system and boot partition's are modified.

It will see you have a custom kernel and modified system and the update will fail.

You might as well wait for the sinless ROM to be updated in a day or two.
