The card is already formatted as FAT32 if you havent done anything to it. So basically, you dont need to do anything about it.
Current:

Old:
HTC Magic 32A
SPL: 1.33.2010
Radio: 3.22.20.17
Recovery: Amon Ra's 1.7.0H

Aside from that, you're good to go. Good luck!
Thanks! Fingers crossed

Just go straight to the latest release 1.0RC1
It should work without a hitch....
Statistics based on this thread shows more success when flashing this ROM in this order 0.9.1>Setup Phone>(0.9.7)>1.0 RC1
This method should avoid boot loop issues so it won't hurt doing so.

I love this but I have this problem all the time ( myhero and this): I have some wifi disconnection problem. I used to solve this by getting wifi fix and it fixed it by auto-reconnecting when disconnected, which was good.

After I installed cursor's rom, I couldn't find wifi fix from market anymore. I could only find wifi fixer classic (which was an old version, not working).

1. so, does anyone have similar wifi disconnection problem? how do you fix it?
2. can you find wifi fix from market? what can i do to find it again?

Thanks in advance. Again, this rom is great, fast and stable. Best I've ever had.

It should, but it doesent. If you wipe your system partition and then flash rc1 the phone will boot into and endless bootloop. Therefore flash and boot 0.9.1 then flash rc1

SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON H
HBOOT-1.33.0010 (SAPP50000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17

I have Amon_RA recovery 1.2.3 installed

1. Boot into recovery, apply Engineering SPL 1.33.2005 update.zip
2. Restart phone into fastboot
3. fastboot flash radio radio.img
4. fastboot flash hboot hboot-1.76.2007.img
5. fastboot flash recovery recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.2.img
6. fastboot erase system -w
7. fastboot reboot-bootloader
8. Boot into recovery
8. Apply cursorsense 0.91, reboot, -> 0.97, reboot -> RC1

Thanks!!
Hello everybody,

have the same issue here.
Am not a DAU but am still new to Android and flashing.

So here are my stats:

SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON H
HBOOT-1.33.0010 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
Jun 2 2009,17:28:28

I also have Amon_RA recovery 1.2.3 installed allready by the one click method from theunlockr.com.

I am a little confused about flashing the correct SPL. As I have the perfect SPL 1.33.0010 do I have to flash the SPL 2010? If I have to flash another SPL, why is it so (am just curious... :) )?

Am a little afraid of briking my phone ;o)

Many thanks for helping,

Juliandroid

Flash SPL 1.33.2010 using your current recovery but on step 5 make sure you are using the HERO recovery (recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.2.img).
Just follow the steps and you'll be fine. If still in doubt, read through this thread.

I just installed this ROM.
Took quite a bit of time lol with all the SPL/Radio changing (for the first time) and fear of bricking my phone :P

But all I can say is DEFINITELY worth it.

Excellent ROM. Runs superbly. Fast, stable, no problems. Can't wait for further releases
