Mine still says rooted when I go into stock recovery, but downloaded mode does say unrooted.

When I go vol down+power, power, to do factory reset, this is where it shows rooted. I want that flag to be reset to show unrooted too. Thanks

With a full .tot or kdz restore using flashtool I believe it does show unrooted in the factory reset screen using vol-power, power.

What I was doing is using this method here for a 100% factory restore:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...97&postcount=1

Which makes an easy flashable return to full stock method. Only problem is it doesn't reset the rooted message in the factory reset screen. Though your fix does work for download mode.

I've been looking for weeks to find a fix for that, which will help everybody with an LG G2 go back to full factory stock for warranty or update, and not hassle with the flash tool, thats a pain to get working.

Thanks

What is the advantage to ¨fake unroot¨? Recive oficial update via OTA?
