AT&T i527 KitKat Update. who has it, who dosent have it?

anyone have i527 at&t model and NOT updated to kitkat for whatever reason? Not available via Kies yet.

I don't have the update and I don't plan to install it until someone figures out root for 4.4.

Right now, my boot screen is not showing KNOX kernel and I would like to keep it that way as long as possible.

I got it OTA early on the 12th. Took me 6 hrs to do it. Failed twice, worked 3rd time around.

I installed over 4.2.2. Did not wipe and factory reset. Just unrooted. Several times. Everything seems to be working fine. Everything is as it was except for my rooted apps working. I will wait patiently for root. Have done a lot of googleing trying to find anything on a rooted Mega i527 on 4.4.2 and no luck yet. There is a way for unlocked bootloaders via kies. We don't have that option

4.2.2 put Knox on so that didn't bother me so much. I miss being rooted. Just for the convenience of adfree and titanium backup.
