If AT&T S5 Get's Root Will It Work For The Active Variant?

If tomorrow we get root and it works on the normal S5, is there a good chance it will work on the Active variant from AT&T?

Yes, there is. According to the theory, the kernel was vulnerable to this exploit in all releases prior to June 3. So, assuming the S5 Active has an older kernel, it SHOULD be vulnerable.

Either way, only 11 More hours friend = ).

yea.. if you read the thread you will see if it could possibly help the s5 active.. its not on the for sure list but if kernel predates june 3rd then theres a chance itll work
