Default Replacing Carousel Icons Without Apk-multi-tool or any type of apk-repacking tool

I had already made a thread about this for the Kindle Fire HD version, but this is for another model so i thought it would be okay to re-post the instructions.

Works on side-loaded apps and system apps.
Apps downloaded from the amazon store are a different story.

You need the following:
-Root (to access system files)
- 2 image icons of your choice: 562px (Carousel icons) 198px (App list icon)
- Your app's ID (can be found through the Google Play store or in: /data/app
For example: com.google.android.apps.docs-1.apk (The bold part is your ID)
- A file viewer (I am using es explorer)

Rebooting is necessary for all changes to take place!

Navigate to: system/vendor/data/images
(this is where you'll drop your images)

Example 1: Gmail: ID: com.google.android.gm
So it would be:

com.google.android.gm.png (for 562px icon)
tall_com.google.android.gm.png (for 1198px icon)

Example 2: SuperSU: ID: eu.chainfire.supersu
So it would be:

eu.chainfire.supersu.png (for 562px icon)
tall_eu.chainfire.supersu.png (for 198px icon)

Example below~

Thanks! Are there any collections of ready made icons available to download?

Not that I know of..
High-quality icons can be acquired from the google play store (I use chrome browser)
or the web in general (Also I use 512px as the largest icon size, instead of the default 562px. It looks just as crisp in my opinion
