Is pocket detection built into stock kernel?

Is pocket detection built into stock kernel?

Meaning when you put your phone into your pocket double tap 2 wake and other gestures won't work.

Is this part of the stock kernel?

Seems to be on my stock kernel?

Just tested with my stock SENSE kernel on my M8 and it appears to be there, its not listed....but if i put my thumb over my sensors and ffc, it wouldn't wake by swipe/tap

Have you ever flashed elemental kernel?
