Good deal glad it went well. Nope just do a backup and wipe. Phils has a option for factory reset that wipes everything and sets you up for a rom flash.

So sorry for the late reply....

Thanks so when I flash that rom you shared I don't need to do anything since it's 4.4 even though the note 2 is on 4.3? Just wipe and flash (and also flash what they say for fixes and stuff)?

If you are using a pure stock image...the flash will hang at the bootloader flash stage...

It's easy to correct by flashing the stock rom twice using Odin...

Again...it's not a big deal....and we have a great thread posted by dicksteele with full instructions...

The best way around the problem is to use a rooted stock rom with the bootloader image removed...

We have several to choose from...g

Ok makes sense. I'm on ezkat 4.4.2 now so would I be able to just flash straight to that or would going to a rooted stock rom without bootloader be best?

Ok thanks I really appreciate the info. Might stick it out for a while on ezkat he did a hell of a job on that rom. I was just curious on the miui rom because they are so much different than others. Thanks again for your time
