I have a 2012 Mazda6 that doesn't have a navigation system. I regularly use my phone (Droid Maxx) for waze/music/phone calls through the car's built in bluetooth. I'm interested in mounting my tablet in my car basically because it has a much larger screen (LG G Pad 8.3). However, I'm pretty sure my car's bluetooth can only be connected to one device at a time, so if my tablet was connected to the car bluetooth I wouldn't be able to receive calls.

I'm planning on using my phone as a wifi hotspot for my tablet to transfer data, but I was wondering if there was a way to:

1) Switch the bluetooth connection from the tablet to my phone when I receive a call. OR
-I'm fairly handy with tasker so this might be a possibility?

2) Use an app to take/make calls from my tablet.
-Tablet talk ( may be a solution, but does anyone know that if I prompt to make a call through the buttons on the steering wheel that it will be able to make a call from tablet-> phone?

There was some discussion here, but the thread has been inactive for over a year:

Any help/advice would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!!
