[Q] How to get rid of "mobile data is off" popup

every startup i get this annoying popup. the internet has lead me to believe it is common and unobtrusive, and caused by apps who want to connect to the internet but wifi and data are off.

so - where is it, i found another post about system/build.prop but the line for editing isnt in my file.

please help - how do i get rid of this popup?

"mobile data is off
your mobile data connection is turned off. unless you use wi-fi, you will no longer be able to use the internet, email or other apps that require a data connection
<ok>"

this is new since upgrading to KK

Yes. Use Titanium backup for the process

backup aside, can anyone tell me why i dont have "CallForward~.apk"??

ill attach a screenshot from root explorer searching for 'call'

Not sure why RE doesnt see it, but its the same for me. Just use TiBu

when i went to delete CallForwardActivation in TiBu it prompts me to confirm the uninstall for '/system/priv-app/vzwPhoneExt.apk'

this apk and it's odex DO appear in RootExplorer.

instead of deleting callforward in TiBu i froze the apk and odex in RE

reboot and no more annoying popup!

Freezing is the safer way to go anyway. If you had uninstalled it, you'd have to reinstall it or RSD back to stock to take an OTA.
