I've called them a few times and they never mentioned anything, my phone was also on at the time and rooted.

I have always gone into the store to get a replacement phone and everyone there knows that I have root and yet they always take care of me.

The closest VZW Retail to me is 1.5 hours away, the stores around here are Wireless Zone or similar type stores.
