Default Low brightness.. some help?

I just bought a LG G2..and when I turned it on, I tried to increase the brightness but it was at maximum..i looked in settings to see if there's no "battery save" that causes the low brightness..but there isn't

Some help?.. the brightness slide bar is working, but the brightness is too low at maximum o.O... the auto brightness box is unchecked
I think the display is broken..I am experiencing heavy screen flicker.. halp!
