Default Charging the galaxy S4 using a powerbank/USB

Is there a way /mod to change the current when charging from a USB/ Powerbank?

I am using a powerbank with 2.1A output but when i use it in my phone i get 500mAh only.

Thanks!

Hi,

Are you sure it's not the cable that is causing the problem? Does the device uses the whole current when charging from the factory wall charger? It's either this or your Powerbank doesn't give you the proper current.

using the cable on a wall chargee gives me 1200mAh average
1900mAh maximum

so i don't think it's an issue.

furthermore, I am able to chage an iPad using the same powerbank and it charges nicely.

i was just thinking i saw something in before where it changes the current from USB.

well thanks anyway. i guess i'll have to replace ny powerbank
