I've just rooted and unlocked my bootloader on 4.4 and I decided to try out DHackers cm11 test build. So far it has been good to be, besides the battery life and how hot my phone gets. I just unplugged my phone about an hour ago and it's at 76% already. And it's very hot. I don't know if it's the rom itself or the way I'm using it, but I think I might go back to stock.

I can play music just fine. I went on a six hour trip yesterday morning, music worked just fine.

Hope you don't mind, but I'm posting this everywhere I can. You can get around the lack of working MP3 by using Viper4Android as it installs its own driver.

I'm not having the mp3 playback problem. Mine plays just fine.
