Default [Q] Can I flash firmware on my phone without deleting my data?

I want to flash firmware on my phone (preferably the one it already has) as it is unresponsive. I can't get it to download mode or anything but odin seems to recognize it so can I do something to flash some firmware over it and maybe have it turn on?

Yes you can flash the same firmware using Odin without losing your data, but be sure to make a Nandroid backup just in case

If you can't go in download mode I think you can not use Odin even if it recognizes the phone
