The MOJO was made and marketed as a game console not an Android miniPC or SetTopBox media player like all these Android HDMI Sticks/Boxes that already exist.

Mad Catz has no software and Android knowledge or even a software development team. They sub all the software development to another company (or even to a few freelance individuals given the result ...)

Mad Catz is a hardware company.

Most people are disappointed with the Mojo because they wrongfully believed it was something else. They projected their desire to have a Tegra 4 Android box on to a Tegra 4 game console ...

Where Mad Catz is at fault is by not delivering their promises about Kitkat (for the BT controller support for instance) and NVidia Gamestreaming technology.
They're not at fault for not turning this console in to an Android TV/Media Player/Whatever wishes people have.
That wasn't their intention from start otherwise they would have shipped the Mojo with a TV remote not a game controller ..

That been said an Android game console can be used as an Android TV/Media Player/Whatever but that is up to the users and the mods community to make this happens.

On the Mad Catz website they made a posting about the availability of OnLIve on the m.o.j.o. as a way of enabling pc streaming. The article allows comments, and someone has asked about kit kat. I'd suggest that you (and by "you" I mean any mo.o.j.o. owner!) visit that website and leave a comment or like the comment so that Mad Catz knows that we are still out here and waiting.

Article: Mad Catz + OnLive = Awesome
url: madcatz.com/mad-catz-onlive

but you can find it on the home page at the moment.

If MOJOs next big update installs AndroidTV to their system. It's finally a decent box again. Android on Mojo with a Dpad is a terrible experience. Seems like AndroidTV would be perfect for MOJO.
